In a sport that is quickly taking the center stage spotlight around the world, Annie Chance is a rising star in the industry.  She is the first woman to have won a World Championship in the Futurity division, as well as being the only rider to have won the Extreme Cowboy Race Nationals twice in the Green Horse division. Annie has received the coveted invite to ride at the Calgary Stampede Cowboy Up Challenge where she placed 5th on Electric Scooter in 2015. Known for her easy going nature and willingness to help any rider whatever their level or experience is, she brings laughter and kindness to the arena as well as her competitive nature. Annie’s training facility is located in Joplin, MO where she trains horses, works as a clinician, and helps riders to reach their goals and dreams. Annie credits her mother for her undying passion to ride and work with horses. “She always inspired me to be exactly what I wanted, and to always go for my dreams even when others said it was impossible. She has been there every step of the way cheering me on through both my successes and failures. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for my mother.” Family and friends remain a central part of Annie’s life; often she and her mother can be found at shows or events together, both riding and competing. While working towards her goals Annie remains both true to the great cowboy traditions of respect, integrity, and fortitude. Somehow managing to train, show, and teach with a smile always present.
